This page provides you with an overview of the functionality of the dashboard and how you can use it to inform your innovation management practices and decisions. |
STEP #1
There are two ways to navigate to the Dashboard:
- When you log into Jira you will see the tryble.io Innovation Management for Jira icon on the main navigation panel. Click on the icon and it will take you to the Dashboard.
- On the tryble.io navigation bar, the first icon will also take you to the Dashboard
STEP #2
This Dashboard "card" focuses on the overall status of the Problems and Possibilities.
The details of the five areas of the card are highlighted below the screenshot to the right.

If you click on either one, it drills down into a filtered view for either Problems or Possibilities:

#2 from above "Problem & Possibility" views - you can switch between the vertical bar chart to show progress of the Possibilities

#3 from above issue workflow based based progress chart - the bar chart is based on your issue workflow associated with your project (we recommend the simple "To Do, "In Progress", "Done" workflow scheme)
#4 from above shows the in-built data integrity we have designed with tryble.io Innovation Management for Jira. This link will shows you a filter for issues which are missing key data

- The " ? " icon takes you to the tryble.io

- The backlog icon takes you to the filtered view of all Problems and Possibilities ordered by issue type (Problem or Possibility)

STEP #3
After understanding the overall progress of the organisation's innovation efforts, you are now able to gain further insight into which Customer Personas are the focus of the Problems and Possibilities.
The screenshot to the right shows the horizontal bar chart sorted by the Persona with highest number of Problems / Possibilities.
Similar to step #2 "Status" card, this Personas card also has the same functionality for:
- Problem / Possibility views
- Missing data filter
- Help icon link to tryble.io documentation
- Personas Problem / Possibility backlog filter

STEP #5
The "Prioritisation" card provides important insights for decision making.
Here are the key points of the chart:
- Problems
- The x-axis represents the frequency of the problem (rarely, sometimes, often)
- The y-axis shows the impact level (low, medium, high)
- Quadrant 1: High Impact
- Frequency = Rarely
- Impact = High
- Quadrant 2: Strategic Problems
- Frequency = Often
- Impact = High
- Quadrant 3: Monitor
- Frequency = Often
- Impact = Low
- Quadrant 4: Backlog
- Frequency = Rarely
- Impact = Low
- Possibilities
- The x-axis represents the likelihood of the Possibility to solve the Problem (unlikely, likely, very likely)
- The y-axis relates to the difficulty level of implementing the Possibility ranging from painful, medium to easy
- Quadrant 1: Consideration Required
- Likelihood = Unlikely
- Difficulty = Easy
- Quadrant 2: Quick Wins
- Likelihood = Very likely
- Difficulty = Easy
- Quadrant 3: Consideration Required
- Likelihood = Very Likely
- Difficulty = Painful
- Quadrant 4: Re-consider
- Likelihood = unlikely
- Difficulty = Painful
