Prioritizing Issues
The Prioritizr app can be displayed for all issue types in your Jira instance, however, it is accessed differently depending on which issue view you are using.
New Issue View
Atlassian is in the process of redesigning one of Jira Cloud's key components - the issue view. Thus the Prioritizr app has been designed for this next generation of Jira user experience and is primarily accessed through an issue glance.
The Prioritizr app glance displays the total priority score and provides access to the underlying framework dimensions. Note, if there is no total priority score yet then a simple message prompting you to “Prioritize this issue” is displayed in the glance.
View / Edit Priority
The Prioritizr glance enables you to view and update the underlying framework dimensions. By clicking the glance, an app panel will be displayed that contains controls allowing you to edit the current values and save them against the issue. An optional free text field is also provided for you to document any required justification for the underlying values.
The total priority score is automatically updated once you return to displaying the app glance area.
Classic Issue View
The classic issue view does not have the glance user interface component, and thus Prioritizr is displayed in a web panel on the issue page. The underlying priority dimension scores can be edited and saved directly from this issue web panel.
